Wassup Wassup! :D
Hope you all enjoyed
your Easter. Well I didn’t. Yeah! Yeah!! Moving on. This week’s post is on our
one and only ‘NOLLYWOOD’. Before i start, please allow me to
laugh......ROTFLMAO. Yes. know I know, we all hate Nigerian movies, (or a lot
of us tho) because we think they are annoying and all that. But I would admit,
they are very funny, in a very stupid dead way! To be honest, some are actually
really nice, but others, smh LOL!
From their ridiculous
movie titles, e.g. My Best Enemy, My Last Enemy, Lady Gaga, Ben 10 ,Finding Goodluck,
Beyonce and Rihanna....*sigh* to the unecessary length or additions to most of
them. Why do they make movies to part 5? WHY????
Then the script or
story writers, hmm, stupid empty stolen storyline, no originality and most are
just annoying. 80% of the actors and actresses are either fake, amateurs, or
just over act!
It’s just sad that they
give us movies with the same storyline which are entirely predictable with no
professionalism at all; and they expect us to buy such!
I know they can do
better, I’m not saying they should copy and do exactly what the Americans are
doing, but the crap they are giving us is just appalling.
Now to the editors, what
do they pay them for? *confused look*. I watched a movie one time where the guy
was having his bath and he was tying a towel, like WTH! Didn’t dey see that
part? Why didn’t they just show his upper body? Also, their criminal scenes
with their fake guns and funny gunshots! Hahaha! The bullet has not touched the
person o, but the person is already on the floor, dead!
Honestly, I just wonder
where in God’s name do they get their actors and actresses! Don’t they watch their
movies? I’m talking about the producers and directors now! Some of these movies
actually have good props and costumes and all that but every other thing, FAIL!!
Then to the local
movies, they are just too diabolical, what are we supposed to learn from them?!
On a more serious note,
people would think Nigerians are all about black magic/jazz, prostitution,
fraud and armed robbery. Why can’t they make a movie that would show our
positive qualities? Plus why can’t our teenagers have their own movie or
series? Where are all the creative
writers, directors, producers, actors/actresses?
This is it, we are
tired of all the B.S. The movie industry in Nigeria is just a big joke! We want
good movies that would actually teach us something and entertain us. We have
many talented individuals, young and old; we have a lot of people that studied
these things in school. Why do they keep using fake amateurs that have poor
diction and accent? I really hope they improve.
Ok, I would stop here!
Hope you all enjoyed this post. Please feel free to comment. Have a lovely
weekend. Thanks! :)
Yep! Dayniike rocks *muah
