Listening in on the voice that sits in the studio room, plucking his guitar while singing a string of memorable syllables together, instantaneously any listener begins to understand what Temisan is trying to deliver.

Temisan (born Tonnie Temisan Francis) is a singer, songwriter, musician and performer who shows no hesitation letting the characters he is trying to portray seep into his music and
the result is an ideology that modern music is more than just a rhythm. It is also a combination of catchy hooks, body-moving synths and of course unforgettable vocals and lyrics. 

Winner of the Malta Guinness 2008 dance contest with a crew he was part of called Soul Quest, Temisan maintains that his main foray into singing rather than dance actually occurred almost like a fluke. After successful practice writing and recording sessions under Kaffy (P Square, Guinness Book Records, Malta Guinness Dance Contest) while temping at her dance school in Lagos, Temisan deciding it was time for serious soul searching embarked on a road trip to Abuja. Abuja. This was the moment affirmation hit for the singer and the wheels were set in motion. 

He draws a lot of inspiration from his mum and has gained a lot of respect for women through her. His influences include Angelique Kidjo, Aaliyah, Boyz II Men, Youssu N Dour, Akon, Fallypupa and 2face. Though he is saddened by never getting to perform with Michael Jackson, he feels humbled to have shared the stage with many of his pop counterparts including Davido, Flavour and D’Prince just to name a few. 

With the kind of records Temisan is set to release, there is no doubt that, his story is just beginning, providing plenty of milestones for us to share with him.
