Adele Gives Birth To Baby Boy

British soul singer Adele has given birth to her first child, according to U.K. reports.

The "Rolling in the Deep" singer and boyfriend Simon Konecki reportedly welcomed a baby boy on Friday night -- but as of yet there's no official word.

"We are not releasing a statement at this time," a spokesperson for Adele said. "No comment."

But a source close to the singer tells London's Daily Mail, "Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival. She was over the moon that they were expecting their first child together."

Adele, 24, began dating 38-year-old Konecki; who heads clean-water charity Drop4Drop; late last year and she announced her pregnancy on her website back in June.

"I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together," she wrote in her blog. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx."

The couple began dating in summer 2011 and moved in together earlier this year. The child is the first for Adele and Konecki's second -- he has a five-year-old daughter with ex-wife Clary Fisher.

Just last week People magazine ran a cover feature on the singer and detailed how she was keeping a low profile and expecting the baby any day now. Talk about timing.

A source told the magazine that the couple plans to keep the child away from the spotlight and are in the process of renovating a four-bedroom home in Hove, about 55 miles outside of London on the south shore of England.

"Neither she nor Simon want to bring the baby up in London," says the source. "She says it's like a goldfish bowl."

The singer recently released a new single, "Skyfall," the new theme song from the upcoming 23rd James Bond film of the same name
